Before we get into the details of how they carelessly dropped my Honda Motorcycle and failed to replace old weather worn valve stems, here is some information about my bike! Its a 2006 Honda Shadow VT1100C. This bike was purchased from the original owner back in 2019 with only 4,000 miles on it! This bike was in such good shape the owner had kept it garage kept the whole time and hardly rode it. The paint was nearly flawless as were all the other parts on the bike. This was a big reason for me purchasing the bike, and quite frankly paying a bit more than other bikes with similar miles. But this one was pretty cherry and I wanted it. So I made my first road bike purchase and hit the streets! The bike rode awesome and I was having a blast! I started to further inspect my bike and even though the tires looked pretty good and had lots of tread life left, they were over 9 years old. And as we all know tires that old risk all kinds of issues and should be changed well before the nine year mark. So I promptly ordered new tires for my road bike and scheduled and appointment for a tire change with the local Honda Motorcycle dealership. That's when I would begin a lengthy, year long process to constantly get Bob Lanpheres team to fix my bike.
